(Electronics) A 4x 2kW multiport converter: The full size prototype that I built for PhD

As one of the last parts of my PhD project, I designed and built a 4x2kW four-port quad-active-bridge (QAB) converter in #G2ELab. It would not be possible without the help and advice from the technical team of G2ELab in fabricating the PCB, buying the components that I needed and providing the required measurement and analyzing devices.

This short video shows some steps of designing and building the converter, which took more than two months of work. We spent two more months on validation of our proposed models and control methods.
